Speech Therapy

We begin speech therapy with an assessment of the patient’s condition, then establish therapeutic goals. The goals and the means of achieving them are incorporated into the patient’s individual care plan, identifying the particular disorder and outlining the actions that will address the patient’s deficits.

Critical to the care plan is the patient’s willingness to actively participate in his or her own therapy. When patients are committed to helping themselves heal, it creates a therapist/patient partnership. CarePartners uses highly skilled licensed speech therapists to carry out the therapy plan from the initial evaluation, through discharge.
